A beautiful morning in the park, I walk, alone. Checking my email, alone. Running, alone. I look up and see a woman, alone. Man, alone. Then, I smile at the woman, alone. Then, the man, alone. I say hi to them. They smile and say hi back. I no longer am alone, they are no longer alone.

When we allow our kindness to reveal itself to others, it is also revealed to ourselves. When we notice the kindness in others, they are exposed to their own kindness. May we all see the kind parts in others and ourselves.

Connection Challenge:
Smile and say hi to someone who is likely not to initiate the encounter.
Reveal your kindness to a stranger, and yourself.
Allow gratitude to feel your heart.
