Beginning therapy is a meaningful step, and I want to make sure you feel informed, supported, and comfortable from the very first conversation. Your initial session is a 60-minute consultation focused on understanding your story, your goals, and how we might work together. We’ll talk through your concerns, explore what’s bringing you to therapy, and begin building a plan that supports your growth and healing.
This session is also a time for you to ask questions, share preferences, and determine if the fit feels right.
Preparing for Your First Visit
To make the most of our time together, please complete the Initial Client Intake Form and bring it with you to your first session.
If you’re unable to complete the form in advance, no worries, just let me know. You can arrive 20 minutes early and I’ll provide a paper copy for you to fill out in a quiet space. If you need assistance completing any forms, accommodations can be made.

- Good Faith Estimate – In compliance with the No Surprises Act, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate outlining the cost of your care. This estimate helps you understand what to expect if you’re uninsured or choosing not to submit claims to insurance. Sessions are available in person at my Scottsdale office or remotely via Zoom, depending on what works best for you. I have experience working with adults, teens, and families, and I continue to pursue specialized training to support a wide range of client needs.

- 50 minute sessions $175
- 80 minute session $265
- 110 minute session $350
- Late Cancellation / No-Show: $175
Payment is due at the start of each session. I accept private pay via cash, check, or credit card.

Insurance & Reimbursement
Peaceful Mind Counseling Services is an out-of-network provider. However, many clients receive partial reimbursement from their insurance provider. I can provide a monthly superbill that includes everything needed to request reimbursement.
